As a kid, I loved eating Snickers bars. This candy bar was hands down, my favorite treat. My dad would take me up to the gas station with him and he would always let me pick some candy out. Yep, you guessed it, Snickers was always my go-t0 snack. Did you have a favorite candy bar when you were growing up?
I also enjoyed eating Granny Smith apples. My mom taught me to balance out sweet treats with healthy snacks at an early age. I remember going to a church picnic and there was a big bowl of some kind of salad. I added a scoop to my plate and with one bite, I knew I held a miracle in my hands. Some genius person out there (most likely a church lady) mixed apples and Snicker’s bars together and made an ever-so-sweet salad! Yummo!
